Meet the Team
Famau Media, formerly “Photography by Ben Jones”, is a creative media company single-handedly run by myself. As the previous name suggests, I started out in 2017 purely as a photographer covering weddings, live events & commerce/product imagery. But, one thing lead to another and I became just as fond of video!
I work full-time for a local video production company - Eastwood Media - which has taken me to most corners of the country on a whole host of different shoots. That said, my boss is ace and always encourages keeping Famau Media alive & kicking.
When I’m not in the office editing or out on a shoot, you’ll find me in the hills (or working on my car). The Clwydian Range is my home, and Moel Famau is what I see out of the window every day of my life - so what better to name my company after?
I’m a huge fan of cinema (Hello to Jason), rally, music & good coffee. My previous career as a chef saw me cooking in AA Rosette kitchens, but my real muse is good quality pub grub!

I’m Gruff (Welsh, pronounced “Griff”). Ben & his family are my masters, but nothing goes without my saying so. I oversee the chest freezer itinerary & put shoes through rigorous endurance testing on a daily basis. I like chicken wings and remote control cars.
